9/9/2023 0 Comments Nidus warframeThere is no perfect loadout for all situations part of why we have multiple loadout slots is so we can easily change gear to the setup that works best for a given mission and enemy type. You might also want to read up on damage types as well, if you haven't already, because some are more effective against certain types of enemies. The two complement each other quite well as a result. Lex (secondary) is very precise and powerful, but has a small magazine and slow reload, so you can use it for long range. For example, ignis (primary) has a short range but hits pretty much everything in that range it's good for crowd control. In my own nidus setup, for low to mid-level stuff, I typically use either ignis wraith or scourge (the latter has the advantage of ignoring snow globes, so if an inexperienced player places one badly the worst that happens is that it's harder for me to see, but given that it's fully automatic, deals splash damage, and yet is still extremely ammo efficient, that's not a big deal most of the time).įor a "general purpose" loadout, you will want weapons that can compensate for each others' weaknesses. For example, an ignis/ignis wraith modded with combustion beam completely obliterates low level areas (it's especially good against infested, since they tend to bunch up, increasing combustion beam's effectiveness), but combustion beam isn't nearly so powerful for high level stuff. You'll also eventually see differences in performance for various loadouts at different levels of content. If you like to mix it up in melee, then equipping the steel charge aura and a hirudo is very effective (although you'll be spamming your melee like mad because of how fast it can attack I literally wore out my old mouse doing this), but for some mission types like hijack, melee is somewhat impractical (and nidus is very good for hijacks, since his health regenerates continuously, without a pause like shields have). There are some basics you're obviously going to want on a nidus (steel fiber, vitality, probably armored agility), but after that it comes down to your preferred play style. There is no objectively "best" build for a given frame.
